Cleaning Guide: Glass
Interior Glass (e.g., shower glass): Wipe down weekly with a microfiber cloth soaked in a mixture of white vinegar and non-abrasive liquid soap. For daily care, use a quality squeegee to minimize mineral spotting.
Exterior Glass: Clean as needed with a mild detergent and water. Wipe down with white vinegar and soap for light buildup. Clean in shaded areas to prevent streaking.
Cleaning Guide: Other Surfaces
Tile & Grout: Weekly cleaning with diluted white vinegar or mild detergent keeps surfaces free from soap scum and grime.
Stainless Steel & Chrome: Use warm water and a microfiber cloth for general cleaning. Tough stains? Opt for a mild detergent or an all-purpose cleaner, following the grain direction.
What to Avoid:
Avoid abrasive substances, acids, alkalis, and harsh chemical cleaners. They may damage the treatment.
Recommended Cleaning Products:
While a squeegee, mild liquid soap, and white vinegar suffice, you can use major brand cleaners like SprayWay®, Scrubbing Bubbles®, 7th Generation®, and Windex® when needed.
Hard Water Areas:
For mineral buildup, employ undiluted white vinegar, a Magic Eraser®, or CLR® (Calcium Lime Rust remover) based on the severity.
Tip for Extreme Hard Water Areas:
In locations with harsh conditions, like New Orleans or Perth, weekly cleaning with a vinegar-water solution is crucial to combat stubborn stains.
